Pink Trees for Pauline – Ten Years of Making a Difference in SA Cancer Community
The 2022 Pink Trees for Pauline campaign, #doekwithadifference (a colourful headscarf), in collaboration with CANSA, will launched in communities across South Africa for the 5th consecutive year. The unique headscarves are sold at R100 each, hoop earrings for R50, stainless steel earrings for R100, and pink fabric to decorate trees at R30 per meter. When #lockdown was first announced we knew that there would be certain limitations to the work that CANSA could, physically, continue with – such as supplying wigs to patients in need – however thanks to an incredible team effort, we were able to put a smile on a little patient’s face when she received her new wig during lockdown.
