With the incidence of cancer rising in our country, the demand for CANSA’s services is far greater than our hardworking staff team can manage.
CANSA Volunteers are the backbone and lifeblood of the organisation, carrying out invaluable work in all departments and extending our reach in local communities across the country.
CANSA is looking for volunteers to assist as companions to cancer patients, to facilitate CANSA Information and Support Desks at hospitals or Support Groups. Volunteers are needed to promote health information in communities, assist with administrative work at CANSA Care Centres or Care Homes and screening events, to complete virtual administrative or marketing and communication tasks, or to source in-kind donations for patients staying at CANSA Care Homes. Fundraising volunteers are also needed.
