Knitted Knockers
Knitted Knockers are hand knitted breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies, or similar breast procedures. They are softer and lighter than any other prosthesis, comfortable to wear and can be placed in any regular bra.
Kits cost R60 and are available from our CANSA Care Centres. The kits are given to ladies in need, free of charge, or if they are able to give a small donation, towards helping us buy more kits!
Volunteers, patients or other interested parties use the kit contents to knit the prostheses and drop it off at their local CANSA Care Centre for distribution to hospitals and patients in need.
