Every three years CANSA honours exceptional individuals who have made a significant contribution towards cancer research.
Oettlé Memorial Medal
It is the highest award of CANSA and is awarded to South African(s) who (a) through original research have made valuable contributions regarding cancer or (b) rendered service of outstanding value to CANSA. Read about the history of the medal here.
