CANSA Vacancy – Patient Navigation Project Coordinator

The Cancer Association of South Africa has a vacancy for the following position: Patient Navigation Project Coordinator

Position Details:

• 24-month contract position based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
• The salary package and benefits offered are commensurate with the NPO industry
• Lead the implementation and delivery of the Movember-funded Prostate Cancer
  Navigation Project in KwaZulu-Natal and North West.
• Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and key performance indicators to
  ensure successful project outcomes.
• Monitor project activities, maintain accurate data, and prepare narrative and financial reports for internal and donor requirements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, partners, and healthcare providers.
• Supervise and support project staff, including the recruitment, training, and management of Patient Navigators.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, project reviews, and project-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, organisational policies, and reporting standards.
• Promote prostate cancer awareness and support initiatives amongst healthcare professionals, community stakeholders, patients, and vulnerable groups.
• Identify and address barriers to timely diagnosis, treatment adherence, and follow-up care.
• Support the delivery of psychosocial support and patient navigation services to improve patient outcomes.
