Cancer has increased and is being diagnosed more frequently so it is important to know the warning signs of cancer, and to promote early detection and awareness of cancer to enable better treatment outcomes. CANSA encourages employers in South Africa to host employee wellness events to show appreciation for their hardworking employees and to ensure that employees can benefit from the educational talks, interactive exhibitions and cancer risk-reduction screenings that we can offer. Employees are encouraged to be more aware of their health, lower their cancer risk by living a balanced lifestyle, and to take remedial action where necessary.
