WHY THIS PRODUCT QUALIFIES FOR THE CANSA SEAL OF RECOGNITION

Compassionhat products comply with CANSA’s stringent evidence-based criteria set out by CANSA, qualifying them to bear the adjacent CANSA Seal of Recognition. The products enhance the quality of life, dignity, health, care, and support of cancer patients and survivors and are free of all known cancer-causing and hormone-disrupting chemicals. The products have been independently verified to have an ultra-violet protection factor (UPF) of 50 to protect against sunburn of the head. Read more.

Please note: Compassion Hats are not sunhats, but alternatives to wigs. They have the extra benefit of offering UPF 50+ protection. However, they must be worn underneath a sunhat that covers the face, ears, and neck for adequate sun protection.
