Coping with Nausea – Top Dietary Tips for Cancer Patients

Battling with nausea is a common side effect of cancer treatment and can be addressed with drugs called antiemetics, which are usually taken before treatment to help control nausea and vomiting.

It is important to find the reason for your nausea – treatment, the cancer itself, dental problems or perhaps a change in sugar levels. Sometimes being very hungry can also make you feel nauseous.

Be sure to tell your cancer care team if you have nausea, because there are medicines that can help.
