About the World Cancer Walk
For the second year, cancer communities will come together as one for a unique event in support and solidarity for each other.
The World Cancer Walk is a global effort to support cancer patients, survivors, and their families as well as raise money towards cancer research. It is a not for profit platform, with all proceeds going directly to the various partnered cancer charities.
No administration fee is taken for the facilitation of this platform.
The World Cancer Walk is a grassroots project that was started by one person who was inspired by a friend who was fighting for her life. It started as a small personal project and grew to an global event with over 1,100 participants walking in more than 250 different cities. Our goal over the next few years is to have a more powerful and meaningful impact by strengthening our World Cancer Walk community and growing it by reaching out to new people who are affected by cancer as well as provide a platform for cancer charities around the world to connect and support each other.
