TLC donation with a special touch
16 January 2013 – What a wonderful way to start the year! CANSA’s TLC for Youth and Families Affected by Cancer Programme received a donation with such a special feeling to it. A young wedding couple, Mark and Betsie Vendrig, decided that they want to bless us.
Instead of asking for wedding gifts on their special day, they asked their friends to bring specific food products that we can hand out at one of the CANSA TLC Paediatric Lodges to our patients in need [TLC Nicus Lodge in Pretoria and the Paediatric Oncology Ward in Polokwane].
We walked into a room filled with boxes of Pronutro, Maltabella, Peanut butter, marmite, Oats, and jam. Many families will benefit from their generosity. Mark and Betsie, we cannot thank you enough for turning your special day into a day to bless others. May you experience just as many blessings on your marriage.
