CANSA Awarded Outstanding Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign Award by UICC
2024 – In recognition of CANSA’s breast awareness campaign, dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer during October and throughout the year, CANSA was awarded the Breast Cancer Awareness Month Campaign Award by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).
In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, PEP, South Africa’s largest single-brand retailer, partnered with the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) to launch The Dry & Detect Towel Initiative.

The towel serves as a gentle reminder that early detection of breast cancer can significantly improve survival rates.
By encouraging women to become familiar with the normal look and feel of their breasts, this initiative aims to help them notice any unusual changes early on. Read more…
