SANCDA Report on Non-Communicable Diseases
The South African Non-communicable Disease Alliance (SANCDA) report on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) was recently presented to the new Minister of Health, Dr Zweli Mkhize, and details Universal Health Coverage as being integral to NCDs equity.
CANSA is a co-founder of the South African Non-communicable Disease Alliance (SANCDA) along with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes SA and the Patient Health Alliance of Non-Governmental Organisations (PHANGO) and its 27 primarily patient–based groups.
We continue to work with our alliances such as the Cancer Alliance and SANCDA to actively campaign to ensure needs and cancer control challenges are addressed at the highest level and that commitments by government, are followed through.
