PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Jakop headband is handmade with love by Jacobi Benkenstein. To Jacobi, it is more than just a headband, it is a crown and she hopes it makes every woman wearing it feels the same! The turban is for every type of woman and for all occasions; it can jazz up a date night outfit or an ensemble for an evening at the theatre, but it’s also very handy in keeping your hair under control while you’re washing dishes, feeding kids or just doing the all-day pajamas thing. It sets off a new look fresh from the salon just as well as it hides regrowth.

WHERE CAN I BUY THIS PRODUCT?

WHY THIS PRODUCT QUALIFIES FOR THE CANSA SEAL OF RECOGNITION

The turbans are made from cotton/velvet and lined with Kira fabric. Kira is highly UV protective (UPF 50+) and chlorine and abrasions resistant and finds its natural habitat in water. The product is free of all known toxins, carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, and all claims are substantiated by evidence.

Cotton is a breathable and hypoallergenic fabric, meaning that it does not irritate the skin of the wearer hence a lower risk of allergic reactions or rashes compared to other fabrics. This makes it highly suitable for sensitive skin and babies/children. Additionally, cotton is biodegradable and environmentally friendly, meaning that if it ends up in the garbage or landfills, it has the ability to decompose and help fertilise the soil.
