CANSA Cape Metro Hosts No Tobacco Workshop With Traditional Healers

CANSA Cape Metro hosted a workshop with the Traditional Healers Forum Members as part of World No Tobacco Day on the 30th May 2014. CANSA is part of The Tobacco Task Team of the Western Cape.

Dorothy du Plooy, CANSA’s Executive Manager of the Southern Business Unit, presented the dangers of snuff and other smokeless tobacco products. After the presentations, the attendees participated in a workgroup where they discussed how to implement all the valuable lessons learnt in their interactions with their clients.
