    Good day

I was told by one of your staff that we are also allowed to send 20cm of hair instead of of 25cm. I would just like to confirm this. Also if we do send our hair do we get a picture of how the wig ultimately looks?

    • Debbie @CANSA says:

Hi Chane the wigmaker prefers 25 cm of hair, but 20 cm can be used as fillers. One hair donation does not comprise one wig. It takes multiple hair donations to complete a wig. If you have a special request for a wig for a particular person, where your hair donation is part of the wig, it is easier to track. You can contact Lucinda Carter at lcarter@cansa.org.za regarding this. Thanks so much for being willing to contribute towards a wig for a cancer Survivor.
