Life ID Wristband to Benefit CANSA

Life ID are donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their Life ID Wristbands to CANSA. These wristbands allow for wearers to be easily identified in the event of an emergency, allowing for better first response by emergency medical services.

LifeID’s mobile application links to an affordable, wearable, near-field communication (NFC) wristband.

In an emergency, your LifeID wristband is scanned via the application to display your medical and emergency contact information.
Emergency numbers are on speed dial on the LifeID application. First responders can access more detailed information such as chronic medication and medical aid details.

In addition to their practical utility, each Life ID wristband sold will now also make a difference in supporting CANSA’s care and support programmes and can benefit both organisers and participants in CANSA Active, and other, sporting events.
