CANSA a Partner of Cancer Alliance Supporting Patients’ Right to Healthcare
CANSA has a strong advocacy role, educating and creating awareness among the public on cancer control issues, as well as influencing policy makers and legislation, to ensure a better outcome for those with cancer in South Africa.
A patient’s right to healthcare is a fundamental component of this and CANSA therefore advocates for upholding of patients’ rights as laid out in the Patients’ Rights Charter and as enshrined in the Constitution of South Africa, on an ongoing basis.
